Application
Procoat Automatic Coating System can be used for the followings:

Aqueous Film Coating of Tablet.
Non Aqueous organic solvent based Film Tablet.
Enteric Film Coating of Tablet.

Coating Pan and Pan Cabinet
Basic coating machine in Non flame proof equipment design

All the product contact parts are made from stainless steel corresponding to 316 Non contact parts and outer surfaces made from Stainless Steel corresponding to 304.
All doors, safety guards and covers are provided with a suitable food grade seals
Pan speed 1 to 15 RPM, The pan speed is variable and can be changed from the control panel.
Perforated pan with more than 55% opening for better quality finish The pan is cylindrical in shape and is made out of stainless steel sheet. The middle portion of the pan is perforated, having 2.5 mm. diameter holes, to enable hot air to enter the pan while in rotation.
4 nos. removable Rabbit ear baffles will be provided
Pan speed control via variable frequency AC drive
Tablets charging facility manual
Tablet discharging facility will be through the special diverter assembly
On the front Stainless steel cover with a glass door for process visualization.
Front Entry stainless steel arm, with facility to adjust the angle of spray guns is provided.
A stainless steel 304 sink at bottom of pan for collection of powder with necessary stainless steel piping with tri clover joints for ease of cleaning during the change over.
The coating pan along with the drive system, hot air plenum, exhaust plenum, pan washing sink, washing pipe line etc. are housed in a stainless steel cabinet
Fluorescent Light is provided for illumination in side the pan
LHS and RHS wall of the machine will be double insulated to prevent the heat lose

Spray Unit
The Spray Unit consists of the following:

Air atomised spray gun.
Jacketed liquid vessel with pneumatic stirrer.
Dosing pump for accurate dosing.
Inter-connecting tubing and fittings.
Suitable components to control the volume and pressure of the atomisation air.
Easily retractable hollow spray bar to accommodate inter connecting pneumatic hoses and
Suitable actuators for automatic spray gun operation.

Hot Air Unit
The Unit consists of the following:

Stainless steel hot air blower directly coupled to flame proof electric motor.
Stainless steel steam heater Finned tubes are S.S. tube with aluminum fins.
Stainless steel hot air control damper.
Stainless steel cabinet for hot air unit.
Steam control valve with pneumatic actuator.

Air Filter
Three stage filter unit for drying air through pre filter, intermediate filter and HEPA filter having following specifications:

Pre-filter having 96% efficiency upto 15 micron.
Intermediate filter having 96% efficiency upto 5 micron.
Ultimate HEPA filter having 99.97% efficiency upto 0.3 micron with differential pressure gauge.

Exhaust Fan
The Unit consists of the following:

High pressure exhaust Fan Unit made of mild steel with epoxy coating directly coupled to flame proof electric motor,
Air volume control damper made of mild steel with epoxy coating.
